Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way to create a direct connection between people who like to eat fresh, local produce and the farm that grows it. The CSA model is an economically viable way for small scale farmers to produce a wide variety of high quality vegetables in an earth-friendly way. CSA fosters responsible relationships between the grower, the community, the food, and the land on which the food is grown.
Our members pay in advance and then receive a weekly box of carefully harvested, certified organic vegetables and some fruits. The crops are washed, packed and delivered to neighborhood pick up sites throughout Portland. A real farm to fork experience, you’ll taste the difference!
The weekly boxes reflect the abundance of diversity throughout the growing season from cool weather crops in the spring and fall to the fruitful bounty of the summer. Each week we will also include a newsletter with farm happenings, information about the crops and recipes

Comments from some of our 2012 CSA members
“Not only do we love and enjoy the vegetables included in the weekly container, your emails are much appreciated as well as the recipes you include. We have enjoyed being introduced to some vegetables I would not have ordinarily made an effort to purchase from the grocery store.”
“We cannot begin to thank you for sharing your vegetables and fruits with us this year. My husband and I recently moved from Boston and this was our first csa experience. Needless to say, we were blown away. I waited in great anticipation for the email each Wednesday morning and was so excited to unpack the box every week! It was a lovely balance of fruits and vegetables we know and love (although the highest quality we’ve ever tasted) as well as produce that expanded our horizon. We honestly will never shop for food or cook the same. I will be counting down the months until we can begin again
Please know how much of an impact you have had – we are so grateful.”
I have been meaning to email you to say thank you for the great season! It was my first time being part of a CSA program and I really loved the variety and new veggies to try. I plan to do this again next year and maybe split the bin with a friend since I found we could not always eat everything. Thank you again to you and your team for all the hard work!
